Who we are and how we rate

Trieste.Coffee is an independent guide to the bars and cafés of the province of Trieste. It starts from a simple passion: here coffee is not a drink, it is a ritual.

We rate every venue on four criteria: coffee quality, location, service and staff friendliness, on a 1–5 scale (half points included). We also record the coffee brand served, when disclosed, and the counter espresso price range.

Prices are indicative and updated regularly: they can change without notice. If you spot a change, let us know.

Reader reviews are published in real time and complemented by the editorial team. We believe in transparency: every page shows its last-update date.
